From our Museum Free Days (the second Saturday and third Friday of each month), to our Free K-12 School Tour program and 4th Grade Passport to the Arts program, we continue to do what we can to open our doors wide to the community and present innovative programming representative of diverse perspectives in order to activate a lifelong passion for the arts. Museum Student Guide Program
Our Student Guide Program presents a unique opportunity for FAC museum patrons to engage with current Colorado College students in dialogue about the exhibitions and artwork. Student Guides understand the variety of tools available to visitors that lead to deeper understanding of art and artists, and connect visitors with these tools to enhance their experience. Student Guides are there to support your exploration of art and might share an interactive activity while you tour the galleries, using inquiry-based art cards, visual analysis games (e.g., scavenger hunts and dice) and exhibition-related creative projects (e.g., community loom, zine-making, and collage-making). Find them in the t-shirts that say, “Let’s talk!”
