This month, KRCC’s award-winning radio documentary program Western Skies is focusing on art. This past Sunday, they interviewed upcoming exhibition artist, Floyd Tunson.
Tunson’s career retrospective, Son of Pop, will kick off the Fall museum season opening on Oct. 27, 2012.
Son of Pop will be Tunson’s first major survey of his career (one that spans over four decades!). His art addresses themes which range from cultural identity to the beauty of pure abstraction, pop culture to art history.
