DESCRIPTION:In this virtual workshop\, you’ll be introduced to the basic Japanese calligraphy strokes as well as some free-style variations. Learn to practice words in Japanese letters and Kanji (Chinese characters) and be encouraged to explore ways to use the strokes of calligraphy and ink-drawing in your own unique way. This class includes live Zoom sessions and studio hours with the instructors. This course is in collaboration with the Colorado College Art Department. Ages 16-Adult
