Blue Star Museums
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across the country. Leadership support is provided by the MetLife Foundation through Blue Star Families.
The FAC welcomes U.S. military personnel, spouses and children as well as U.S. veterans.
Welcome to all active duty and retired military personnel and families. Colorado Springs is home to not only the Fine Arts Center, but also five military installations: Fort Carson, the United States Air Force Academy, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, Peterson Air Force Base, and Schriever Air Force Base.
The Fine Arts Center is proud to be a member of the Blue Star Museums program. Blue Star Museums offer free admission to all active duty, National Guard, and Reserve military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day. This free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps – and up to five family members.

MILITARY MEMBERSHIPS
The Fine Arts Center offers discounts through our special FAC military membership plan. For example, an individual membership for active duty or retired military is $45 and for a family is $60, which is good for 12 months and includes free general admission to our museum, discounts on art classes and special invitations to monthly events. Military receive more than 30% off our full price family and individual memberships.
