DESCRIPTION:As part of Museum Free day on Sept. 17\, join desert ArtLAB for a pop-up workshop exploring native flora of Colorado through the cyanotype process. The cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic printing processes. All ages are invited to participate. Stay to celebrate the closing of the exhibition Papel Chicano Dos: Works on Paper from the Collection of Cheech Marin. Enjoy access to museum galleries\, an outdoor bar\, hands-on art activities from Bemis School of Art\, dancing and DJ’d music made possible by CC Mobile Arts. \nPlease note: This event is taking place outdoors in the FAC parking lot\, check the weather and plan accordingly. Bring a chair if you’d like\, but with the jams our guest DJ will be spinning we hope to see you all on your feet dancing in celebration of summer\, community\, and the arts.
