DESCRIPTION:Join us for our summer pop-up yoga series with Jessica C Patterson\, owner and director of Root: Center for Yoga & Sacred Studies\, assisted by Holly Horter \nSunday mornings\, 9:30-10:45 a.m.\, Outside (weather permitting) \nJuly 28 (live music) benefiting Inside|Out Youth Services\nAugust 11 (with LIVE cello!) benefiting  Eating Disorder Foundation\nSept 15 (with LIVE cello!) benefiting  The Women’s Resource Agency \nInspired by the exhibition\, World of WearableArt™. As community\, we will celebrate the body\, and honor our diverse and unique forms of self-expression. Live music from Lisa Schoenstein in Aug and Sept. \nEach class will benefit a local organization\, whose mission and work support a deeper understanding of the embodied self. \nThese Donation-based classes include museum admission\, and all donations go toward the featured organization. \nPlease bring your yoga mat and any props you might want to have on hand\, and let’s breathe with the seasons and experience the FAC in a whole new light!

DESCRIPTION:Join artist Becky Wareing Steele for a conversation centered on community as it relates to her ongoing exploration of the concept of a Utopia. Utopia: A New Society for All brings virtual reality into the real world\, looking into what it takes to build a successful society as diorama based installation art. Wareing Steele will discuss what brought her into her role as Founder and Facilitator of Utopia and how she’s continued to build a sense of community with citizens around the world through this community-based project.
