DESCRIPTION:Join the museum collections team in the Agents of Care gallery from 1–4 p.m. to explore some of the frames used by the museum\, from historic to modern\, simple to ornate. Museum staff will discuss the various components of a frame and how they work together to protect and preserve art while on display and in storage. This is a drop-in program that is free and open to the public.

We’ll be diving into the art of macrame\, where you’ll learn to knot and weave a macrame photo hanger\, a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day\, which is just around the corner. No prior experience is necessary—our expert instructor Megan Dulin will guide you through the process step-by-step. You can bring your own small photo to customize the size of the hanger. \nAnd as you work on your masterpiece\, you can purchase a delicious drink to sip on while you craft. Space is limited\, so bring your friends or come solo. Either way you’ll have a fantastic time socializing and creating something beautiful! \nFAC Members: $20\nGeneral admission: $30 \nDrinks available for purchase. Credit card only.
